I wrote these poems during my teenage years. It was a time when each day was a tornado of first crushes, earth-shattering heartbreaks, and paralyzing self doubt. It was a time when I saw true evil in the world and was willing to give my life to do what was right. I often stormed head first into battles with no plan and no weapons to protect myself.

It was also a time of undying hope, determination, and aspirations of what amazing secrets I knew the future had waiting for me.
